The Opportunity

The IT Infrastructure and Security Leader is responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Overseeing the development, implementation, and management of the company’s IT infrastructure and security strategies. This role involves ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the IT systems to support the global retail business operations. 

The leader will collaborate with various departments to align IT goals with business objectives, drive technological innovations, and protect the company's digital assets.


Responsibilities:  

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Communicate IT strategies and updates to senior management and stakeholders 
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Develop and implement IT infrastructure and security strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  • Plan and oversee IT projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
  • Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of IT systems.
  • Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect the company’s digital assets.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Evaluate and select new technologies and solutions to enhance IT capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and audits, implementing mitigation strategies to address vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with other business units to understand their IT needs and provide effective solutions.
About You:
  • Minimum 7-8 years of experience
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring IT teams.
  • Experience with multi-location IT environments.
  • Excellent strategic planning and implementation skills.
  • Strong background in IT infrastructure and security.
  • Ability to develop and enforce security policies and protocols.
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities.
