The Opportunity

We are looking for a Category Manager this will be a key contributor in driving the success of the product categories. You will be responsible for executing  category strategies that not only drive sales and improve profit margins but also align seamlessly with the overall category vision.

In this position, you will play a pivotal role in analysing market trends to ensure the product offerings remain competitive and relevant.

Your ability to leverage data to inform pricing strategies and work closely with marketing and creative teams will be essential in promoting products effectively and maximising their market potential.


The Role
  • Develop and execute category strategies based on market analysis and competitor assessment.
  • Analysing market trends and competitor activity
  • Contribute to category budget setting.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to understand consumer preferences
  • Contribute to internal and cross-departmental projects.
  • Drive sales and margin through competitive and data-driven catalogue pricing, collaborating with creative and marketing teams for effective product promotion.

About You
  • Proven experience in category management, merchandising, or buying within the homeware or retail sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
  • Ability to develop and execute successful product strategies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in furniture industry would be highly regarded

This role is based at our Design and Support Centre at Turrella. We have free staff parking available.
