For five decades, King Living has pushed the boundaries of furniture design. This year, we’re proud to share that our commitment to innovation and craftsmanship has been recognised once again.
At the 2024 Australian Good Design Awards, we took home two prestigious awards, cementing our place as leaders in the world of furniture design.
The Good Design Awards are Australia’s oldest and most respected international design awards, highlighting the role great design plays in transforming everyday life.
Held at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Sydney, this year’s ceremony was attended by over 1,000 guests from the design, architecture, and business sectors.
The theme, "The Design Effect," focused on how design impacts the products and services we create and how it drives sustainability and reduces our carbon footprint.
This year, we’re honored to have two of our designs recognised: the Delta Coast Sofa and the Heritage Extension Dining Table.
Both products reflect our passion for creating beautiful, functional furniture that enhances the way we live.

The Delta Coast Sofa embodies the relaxed Australian lifestyle. With its laid-back aesthetic and unmatched modular flexibility, this sofa is perfect for spaces where comfort and versatility are key.
Delta Coast is designed to reconfigure easily, offering endless possibilities—including transforming into a guest bed. Slipcovered for a casual appeal, the tailored covers are easily replaced for a fresh new seasonal style or removed for machine washing on selected fabrics.

Our in-house design team’s attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed by the Good Design Awards jury, who commented:
"The range’s adaptability, ease of reconfiguration, and attention to repairability exemplify high-quality craftsmanship. The Jury was impressed by the balance of comfort, functionality, and practicality, particularly in transforming from a sofa to a guest bed."

With our exclusive SoftTouch Extension Technology®, the table expands effortlessly from a 6-seater to 10-seater to accommodate more guests. Users can simply slide out one table end while the other glides into place with synchronised movement and open the extension leaf to complete the transition.
