You’ve just decided to bring your very own piece of luxury home. From the day you place your order until the day you receive your new furniture and beyond, there are many things to understand and keep in mind. 

With a large number of orders being placed and delivered daily across KING locations all around the world, we understand that our customers like to know what to expect.  

We will explore everything from shipping and delivery day to product care and maintenance, to warranties and the KING recovering service to give you all the need-to-know details.

What are the shipping and lead times?

Like all retailers KING has been impacted with supply chain issues during the global pandemic that have been unprecedented. Currently our lead times are reviewed on a weekly basis to give our customers the most up-to-date information at the time of their order. Some of the key factors that can influence lead times are raw material availability, production capacity and labour availability, and ocean carrier availability and behaviour. 

What to expect on delivery day

Once your furniture is available to deliver you will receive a personal phone call within seven days. Our Showroom team will advise what day we deliver to your area and the timeframe, which is typically a 4-hour window. At this time, any customers who have not completed their 75% payment will be reminded, as delivery is dependent on payment being finalised. 

On the morning of your delivery, you will receive a confirmation text. You will then receive another text 30 minutes prior to delivery and a link to track your delivery drivers’ location. 

Prior to delivery, ensure that any items are moved which may impede the path into the space where your new furniture will be placed. Please note, our delivery contractors are unable to assist with re-arranging furniture or taking old furniture items away. 

If you opted for express delivery, packaging will not be taken away, however with all other deliveries KING will remove and recycle all packaging for you.

Are there product care services available?

Caring for your furniture fabrics and leathers at home is part of the puzzle to keeping your furniture looking and feeling great for years to come. The King Care® team is available to help you keep your KING furniture looking its best, year after year. King Care® offers: 

• Recommendation on trusted partners for professional in-home cleaning services.
• In-home recovering and refurbishment services. Please note, this service is unavailable for timbers, rugs and some select pieces. Our team can confirm in-home availability for your items. 
• KingGuard+ fabric treatment  

Many customers choose KingGuard+ on purchase, however reapplication by a professional can be done in your home as required. KingGuard+ is an advanced protective fabric treatment that helps repel liquids and stains, making it easy for you to clean and keep you KING furniture fresher for longer.

What is included in my furniture warranty?

If anything happens to your furniture, it’s good to have the peace of mind that you have a comprehensive KING furniture warranty that has helped thousands of customers. 

KING crafts furniture to last and this is backed by a 25-year steel frame warranty on all sofas. In addition, KING offers comprehensive warranty options to suit all the various materials, components and furniture pieces.
